COBAS® TaqMan® 48
COBAS® TaqMan® 48 is the instrument using the real-time PCR technology for automatized amplification and detection of DNA and RNA for two simultaneous tests. Intended for clinical laboratories, can be used in combination with COBAS® AmpliPrep instrument and AMPLILINK software by which the automation is achieved.

COBAS® TaqMan® 96
COBAS® TaqMan® 96 is the instrument using the real-time PCR technology for automatized amplification and detection of DNA and RNA for not more than four simultanous tests. Intended for clinical laboratories, but can be used in combination with COBAS® AmpliPrep instrument as a completely new automatized system in which, by using the docking station, trasmission of samples from Ampliprep instrument to Cobas TaqMan96 can be done.

COBAS® AmpliPrep is the instrument used for automatic sample preparation for PCR testing on COBAS® AMPLICOR , COBAS® TaqMan® 48 and COBAS® TaqMan® 96 instruments. It can be used not just for diagnostics, but also for testing of donors in transfusion. It has the capacity of 72 samples with simultaneous use for not more than 4 tests. After placing the samples on the instrument, the lease, hybridization, probe capture, washing out and re-suspending follow, and then the prepared sample is ready for amplification.
